Trust & Verification

How CareFinder Verifies Hospitals

Every hospital on CareFinder has a trust tier. We use a transparent, independent process to verify hospital information — and we never sell badges.

Three Levels of Trust

Verification and premium placement are completely separate. A verified badge means we've confirmed the data — not that the hospital paid us.

Community Listed

We've added this hospital based on public information. The data hasn't been confirmed by the hospital or our team yet.

What this means:

  • Hospital information sourced from public directories and registries
  • Contact details and services may not be fully up to date
  • No one from the hospital has confirmed the listing
How to identify

Community-listed hospitals have no badge next to their name. You'll see a subtle "Community Listed" label on their profile.

Claimed by Hospital

A representative from this hospital has verified their identity and manages this listing. Basic information like hours and contact details are kept up to date by the hospital itself.

What this means:

  • A real person from the hospital has proven their identity
  • Contact info, operating hours, and photos are maintained by hospital staff
  • The hospital can respond to patient reviews
  • Basic info changes are updated immediately; clinical data changes are reviewed by our team
How to identify

Look for a blue checkmark icon next to the hospital name with the tooltip "Claimed by hospital".

Verified by CareFinder

Our team has independently confirmed this hospital's specialisations, services, insurance acceptance, and certifications. This badge is free — it means we've done the homework, not that the hospital paid us.

What this means:

  • CareFinder team has called or visited the hospital to confirm clinical claims
  • Specialisations, equipment, and insurance panels have been cross-checked
  • Certifications verified against regulatory bodies (HEFAMAA, MDCN, etc.)
  • Physical location confirmed via on-site visit or verified map coordinates
How to identify

Look for a green shield icon next to the hospital name with the tooltip "Verified by CareFinder".

What We Verify

For verified hospitals, our team independently checks these six areas to ensure the information patients see is accurate.

Hospital Identity

We confirm the hospital's official name, registration status, and category to ensure it's a legitimate healthcare facility.

Contact Details

Phone numbers, email addresses, and websites are tested so patients can actually reach the hospital.

Location Accuracy

We verify the physical address and map coordinates, so directions lead to the right place.

Services & Specialisations

Listed specialties, services, and operational details like 24/7 availability are cross-checked for accuracy.

Certifications

Accreditations from bodies like HEFAMAA, MDCN, and JCI are verified against official registries.

Insurance Panels

HMO and insurance acceptance claims are confirmed directly with the hospital and insurance providers.
